Public Notice Regarding Historic Review of Privately-Owned Residential Buildings Proposed for Demolition in Orleans Parish, Louisiana - (2) Non-Collapsed Buildings Seeking Comment for Historical Significance (2) FEMA, in consultation with the SHPO, seeks to determine if additional privately owned residential buildings proposed for demolition by the City of New Orleans are eligible for listing in the National Register of Historic Places under Criterion A (associated with events that have made a significant contribution to the broad patterns of our history) or Criterion B (associated with the lives of persons significant in our past) and is requesting the aid of the public in this identification effort. Any member of the public who has specific, documented evidence of a property's association with events or persons significant in local, state, or national history is encouraged to provide this information to FEMA.
